Composed of thermoplastic polymers, Polycarbonate panels are usually found in several industrial applications. Polycarbonate is a polymer which includes numerous identical units of bisphenol A which are interlinked by carbonate.   • Extrusion: The polycarbonate is melted and pressed through an orifice which allows the molten polymer to take the shape of the die. Most manufacturers use this process to produce large sheets, pipes and profiles.
